We want to thank each and every one of you who came out and supported our Bruster’s Ice Cream Fundraiser this evening. We are overwhelmed, in a good way, by all of the love and support given to our family. We especially want to thank those of you who rolled up your sleeves and helped to scoop, we could not have done the evening without your hard work and strong biceps! We also want to thank the team at Bruster’s for helping us make our event successful.
We had fun, and raised some money in the process for a cause that is so near and dear to our hearts. Jack asked us when we were driving home tonight, “Mom, do you think we raised enough money tonight to find a cure for Mitochondrial Disease?” We told him that we definitely made a contribution, but that it will take a lot more ice cream fundraisers to fund the research necessary to find a cure for mito. Our kids then spent the remainder of our ride home brainstorming ideas for future fundraisers. They are motivated to make a difference! What their dad and I already know, is that they already have made a difference!
Drew and I are constantly amazed by the love, support, thoughts, and prayers that are being given to our family! Thank you so much for all that you do!
