A Picture Says a Thousand Words...

January 7, 2014
Today, was the hardest day ever!

We discussed our options for Lucy's end of life with our palliative doctor and main doc.

No decisions were made, except that we decided to make no decisions right now.

We need more time.

Our hearts are breaking…hurting…torn.  Watching our children's hearts breaking...it's awful… indescribable.

You know the saying a picture says a thousand words, I need not say anymore…

Dear Nicole, Drew and family,
Even though we have not been in touch for awhile now, I follow your posts to keep up todate on all the happenings and all the good adventures you have with your family. First I can't believe jack is 13 ! You guys are too young for the teenager thing ! I don't even have one yet ! Mark is 11 and at 5ft 5" and growing I am sure he will be passing me soon ! You have posted some great family memories over the past few years and I know you know in your heart these will help get you through the darkest days ahead. I pray everyday for a miracle for Lucy and others in her situation. As a mother I can't imagine the heartbreak you are going through, but I did want you to know that we think of you all and during these hard days ahead our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Love,
Lynn,Steve ,Mark
